Dental Implants ; The permanent Solution

If you are looking for a permanent solution to dentures or other replacement products - Dental Implants may be perfect for you!
Dental Implants enable you to recapture your beautiful smile after a tooth is lost. At Lane Ends Aesthetic & Implant Centre we realize, the traumatic effects of losing a tooth can have on your self-esteem, appearance and your oral well-being. Your Implant dentist; Dr. Kaviani is motivated to help patients recover from tooth loss and regain the functioning of your teeth and your stunning smile!
Dental Implants offer several major advantages to patients after tooth loss. The ability to recover the natural appearance of teeth, is one of the greater benefits of Dental Implants. Almost undistinguishable in appearance from your natural teeth, Dental Implants can also be created to match the exact color of your existing teeth. The strong support given by Dental Implants, allows patients to consume the same foods as they would have before.
After having lost a tooth patients can experience several changes within the mouth. These changes can inflict permanent damages to the remaining teeth and result in further mouth deterioration. Tooth loss may cause;
- restricted ability to perform natural functions, e.g. chewing and eating
- permanent damage due to strain on other teeth
- weakened jawbone
- your smile may be aesthetically lacking
Dental Implants are long lasting dental restorations. Created from Titanium, Dental Implants are inserted into the jaw bone. Over time the jawbone will attach itself to the Implant. Once this has occurred small posts (abutments) are fastened to the Implant and Dentures / other replacement products are permanently fixed into place. The procedure of Dental Implants will significantly increase stability within the mouth. Improved biting pressure, reduced irritation and increased self-confidence; are just a few of the benefits patients experience.
Single / Multiple tooth replacement
When you're missing a single tooth, the best permanent replacement is a dental implant placed in your jaw to replace the root, and a dental crown placed over it. Traditionally, a single missing tooth has been replaced by a dental bridge. A bridge requires that the teeth adjacent to the missing teeth are ground down and crowns placed on them. A dental implant by Implant Dentist; Dr. Kaviani , however, not only acts and feels like your own tooth, but it does not require crowns on the adjacent teeth.
Having dental implants replacing your teeth will give you new, unparalleled strength and stability that allows you to eat what you want. It will also preserve your jawbone and facial appearance. Restoring naturally beautiful, confident smiles means more than just restoring teeth, it means restoring and improving your quality of life. Whether you are missing few or all of your teeth, Dental implants placed by your qualified implant dentist will allow you to enjoy your favorite foods and have the confidence you desire for an active professional and social life.
Implant Retained Overdenture
The loss of all your teeth can be a crippling situation. Traditionally, removable dentures have been placed. However, most people with dentures are unhappy with them. Dentures move around when you eat, they can interfere with your speech, and they can come out at the wrong times. They can pinch and rub your gums and cause very uncomfortable sore spots.
Implant dentist; Dr. Kaviani uses two basic options for dental implants in this situation:
You can have several implants placed and a fixed bridge on the implants or, you can have what is called an overdenture resting on two or more implants in the front part of the jaw with either a ball or bar attachment. Undoubtedly the most comfortable and the most functional option is to have several implants and the fixed bridge. The overdenture or the simple full cosmetic denture, when they are chosen, is usually chosen for cost reasons. Read more
Teeth in an Hour®
It is a great pleasure for us to be able to offer a new treatment concept called Teeth in an Hour™. This new concept represents a giant step forward in the development of implant treatment protocols that are easier and more patient friendly.

With this new technology, used by Implant Dentist Dr. Kaviani, you can have missing teeth replaced immediately, with no waiting time. This technology was recently developed by Nobel Biocare®, and allows for collaboration between both the restorative and surgical phase. Through this merging of knowledge and experience , Dr. Kaviani is able to not only achieve increased safety, but also a more precise implant placement. In addition, the fabrication of a final prosthesis is completed prior to the surgery.
